soooooooo much to watch tonight...

my turn to be sick...

sunday morning i woke up with a nasty bug...sore throat, runny nose and the chills...looks like it's my turn to be sick...YUCK!!! this morning i woke up and called in sick...i never do that but i felt it was best to stay home and hopefully not get anyone else sick...

so let's back up a few days...last tuesday was so much fun! we got to archiver's around 10 and started right in! i am so happy to say that i am ALL caught up on my project 365 book!!!!!!!! i made an autograph book for a little girl i know that will be going to disney in may...plus i made a few cards : ) we took a lunch break and went to the new sonic that just opened up! my first time ever! their food was so yummy...especially their limeades : ) you could tell we were newbies because we had no idea how to order...how to pay...do we tip???


it was fun...can't wait to go back! i think we ended up getting home around 8:30! and the best part about it was that we didn't have to pay to crop and we had a TON of space!!!

really didn't do too much the rest of the week...friday night i zipped up to sarah's for a few minutes and then it was off to the laundromat...

saturday i worked at the goosebarn and then after that all of us girls from the goosebarn went to one of our customers party! we had a really nice time...party was held in this big open barn in stillman valley...i even got up and did a little line dancing...LOL!

then i woke up sunday morning feeling horrible...i have been resting and napping all day sunday and monday! hope the zicam helps and shortens this NASTY COLD!!!

all packed + ready to go...

can't wait to go tomorrow...

now its off to watch dwts...

can't believe how fast this year went...

one year ago {tomorrow, the 23rd} was easter...AND i moved out, i told lenny that i wanted a divorce and was moving out...ginger, scott {co-worker} and my dad all came over and we moved all my stuff! what a year it's been! moved in with my dad into a ONE bedroom apartment and basically lived in his little living room for 4 1/2 months until i got my own apartment in august! i am very happy with my decision and i feel like a new person! i am lovin' my life right now!
couldn't have done it without my family + friends! love you ALL!!!!!!!!!

so onto other things...saturday i worked at the goosebarn, finished up with the inventory. a couple of friends {dee + hope} popped in to say hi...i bought a couple of new stamps {shocking i know...LOL}. sunday i met sarah at panera so i could give her b.day gift to her! then came home and tackled a closet of mine that is off of my living room area...it mainly has craft stuff in it...i brought it all out and i never knew that so much could fit into that closet...LOL...after several hours i have it all cleaned out and moved some things downstairs...what a chore! i am scared to tackle my next chore which is the basement...

very jealous of all my teacher friends that are on spring break this week...BUT i am taking tuesday off to go with sarah and stacie to archivers to scrap alllllll day : ) pretty excited about that!!!

slacker...

so everyone is asking me...how come you haven't posted on your blog lately??? WELL...facebook has taken over my life...LOL i just keep thinking about ditching the blog completely??? but i will try one more time to keep this thing updated for all of you...but if i can't keep it updated this time around...WELL, no more candi land : (

so what's been going on with candi???

*i finally got all of my STUFF moved out of my dad's basement and into mine a couple weeks ago...omg, that was a BIG job!!! i can't wait to start digging into those boxes because MOST of it is my crafty stuff!!! i want to get super organized and weed out some of the things i don't need : )

*my mom came to visit me last weekend and we had a nice time! we went to a fish fry friday night out at the venetian club and met up with some friends...shopped on saturday and then went to RMH to visit 2 newborns! my cousin and my sisters best friend both had their babies last weekend! i held one of the babies and my mom was lovin' it...she wants a grandchild really bad...not sure where she is going to find one???

*my brother-in-law, zac, came home from iraq yesterday!!!!!! i am so happy that he is home...safe and sound!!! one of my co-workers made a huge sign for wendy to put up when he arrived home!

*i have been working on my project 365 with ginger and that is a big JOB! i thought it was going to be so easy to take a pic everyday and write a little something about it...

*last night i met sarah at fiesta cancun for dinner + drinks! it was so nice to see her and catch up on life! it has been a REALLY long time since i have seen her!!! {i promise it won't be that long next time!!!}

i guess that's about it...other than work + facebook!!!

...i am heading to lino's now to meet some friends for a birthday celebration!

sleepy today...

last night ended up being a late one for me...lol...i stayed up and watched most of my shows, then i was trying to download the facebook app for my itouch and i could not figure out why it would not download! so after downloading the updated itunes version on my laptop {which took FOREVER!} then sync'd my itouch with my laptop...i was all good to go! i was determined to get it figured out and i did!!! love this new app!

very easy to navigate around...after downloading the app, i was up for another 30 min's messing around with it! i seriously need help...I AM ADDICTED TO FB!!!

tv night!!!

so tonight is my tv night...i have 4 shows on that i watch...good thing its the finale for one of them : ) then dwts + antm starts next week i think??!!

the bachelor...i am still very sad that jason sent jillian home last week!!! last week ginger sent me a link to a website/blog that talks about the bachelor...she warned me twice before sending it to me...lol...well, i know what happens at the end and more...i am still very excited about watching the upcoming shows!!!

*my dad came over yesterday afternoon to tell me that his last month at his apt is going to be march, he is going to move back into his house that his ex-wife finally got out of back in december! so i gotta get my but in gear and get the rest of my stuff over to my place! i have SOOOOOOOO much stuff in my dad's basement yet...i hate to even think about moving it over...but it's gotta get done!

*this week i am busy with helping a friend out with her dog while she is out of town...so i am popping over to her house during my lunch hour and after work, she lives right by the office so that is nice! {her neighbor is helping out too!} this dog is a little stinker...she never wants to go outside, i always have to carry her out there...i don't blame her...lol

so glad it's going to start warming up tomorrow!!!
off to go watch my shows...

*this weekend i put out some easter stuff...this bunny i picked up at gordman's back in january...

i picked up that cute little carrot plate at hallmark on friday night...it's so cute...love how it says bunny treats...

then i found these cute little carrots to put on my "sticks" that are in the corner of my apt...this is my fave thing in my apt because i always decorate it with cute things for the different holidays/seasons...

then i put some easter grass and plastic eggs in this jar...

*didn't do too much the rest of my weekend...i had a couple of different plans but they fell through...saturday night i was on FB all night...lol...it's so hard to get off of it! i was "chatting" with anne for over an hour...it was fun : )

so is everyone getting ready to watch the oscars??? not a big fan of the oscars...but i will watch some of it to check out all the beautiful gowns...

what a mess!

got home after work and started making brownies for tomorrow night + look what happened...

the darn package was open in the box and most of it missed the pot {don't laugh...had to use my pot to mix the brownie mix...i don't have any mixing bowls} luckily i washed my counter tops before preparing the brownies so i got up as much as i could...the brownies look ok...we shall see!!! lol

*i could not get over the weather today...SO AWESOME! tonight on my way home i had the windows rolled down....jammin' to my tunes...

now they are calling for snow this week...several inches friday night into saturday...geez!!!

*made some valentine cards for the girls tomorrow night...i was inspired by ivy's card from her class at stampology last year...here is a peek...

*my back...much better! everyone at work was telling me to try a couple of different things and it's working!!! so happy!

i know you guys are thinking...candi posted 3 nights in a row...lol...i am shocked myself :) off to go try out a brownie and then it's facebook time...

argh...sure hope my back doesn't give me anymore problems tonight...my back started to bother me on saturday...sunday i had a hard time bending over, it hurt alot! thinking it's my new bed???? i have NEVER had a regular bed my whole life, with the exception of when i was a baby...always slept on waterbeds! how long is it going to take for me to get used to my bed???

*just got off the phone with laurie...still haven't received my w-2 from captured moments...it came back to her house so she insisted on dropping it off at my office tomorrow.

*so excited about watching the bachelor tonight!!!!!! is tonight the night deanna comes back??? the claws will be coming out big time when that happens! ahhh jason...such a cutie...

back 2 blogger...

well...i have made the decision to drop my account with typepad and join blogger again...i need to cut back on a few things and the one thing i am starting with is my account with typepad...it doesn't cost much, but gotta start somewhere!

*wed night a bunch of us girls met after work and drove into archivers for a valentine card class...we all signed up about a month ago and i was going to cancel because i so did not need to go and spend $!!! but decided to go and very happy that i did! we had a really great time and can you believe i didn't buy one single thing! {i was sooooo pround of myself!} here is a pic of some of the cards we made...

*friday night i picked up a pizza from nunzio's and headed over to ginger's house...we hung out and worked on some thank you cards...plus we were geekin' on FB...it was fun : )

*omg wasn't saturday just beautiful!!!!!!!! i finally washed my car...went to napleton's to take advantage of my free weekly car wash...line wasn't too bad...here is my happy clean car...
